Bilal A. Flynn, of Endicott, was sentenced Wednesday to nine years in prison and three years parole for a
February 2020 drug conviction.

A Broome County Jury found Flynn guilty of 10 drug counts at his February trial. He was arrested June 7, 2019, by the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force and indicted by a Grand Jury on August 9, 2019. During trial, prosecutors proved Flynn knowingly and unlawfully possessed narcotics with the intent to sell.

“A strong prison sentence of nine years sends the message that Broome County is not the place to sell drugs,” said District Attorney Michael A. Korchak. “The District Attorney’s Office extends our thanks to the SIU Task Force, for their hard work on this case, and all law enforcement agencies for their continued work to rid our community of drugs.”
