An Endicott teen is accused of escaping police custody during his arrest on Tuesday. Police had a felony probation violation warrant for 19-year-old Dustin Smith, and arrested him on Hillside Court in Endicott, when he fled on foot while officers were searching him. He was caught again after a brief chase and resisted arrest, according to police. He has been charged with felony second-degree escape and a misdemeanor count of resisting arrest. He was held overnight in the Broome County Jail without bail for the probation violation, and was arraigned this morning in the Village of Endicott Court.
