Fleeing Motorist Leads Endicott Police on Chase Through Village

Endicott Police Department is continuing the investigation into an incident in which a motorist failed to comply with a police officer by fleeing in a motor vehicle. The incident occurred on Saturday at approximately 4:30 p.m., when the motorist fled from the police officers throughout several streets in the Village of Endicott.

The incident further involved a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Oak Hill Avenue and Watson Boulevard between the fleeing vehicle and another motorist. The operator of the fleeing vehicle, 20-year-old Justin A.
Vymislicky of Endicott, passed through the red light at the intersection of Oak Hill and Watson and struck the second vehicle.

Vymislicky, along with a passenger in his vehicle, were transported to Wilson Hospital for treatment. Their injuries were non-life threatening. The occupants of the second vehicle were examined at the scene by emergency medical services and released.

The investigation is continuing and charges are pending against Vymislicky.
