Despite the criticism of some West Endicott residents, National Pipe and Plastics will be moving across the river from Vestal to Endicott. The Town of Union zoning and planning board has approved the move to a new and larger location. The company says its new $15 million facility will provide 250,000 square feet and create 150 new jobs. Residents opposed to the move say it will destroy their neighborhood and the environment. Exact details of the relocation are not yet known.
