Alice Shriber, 66, of Endicott died on Monday in a two car collision on I-81 in Kirkwood.
Shriber was driving south on I-81, and used a police U-turn to change to the northbound lanes.
Beau Clinton, 31 of Avon was headed north in his pick-up truck and struck Shriber as she reentered the highway.
Clinton was taken to Wilson Regional Medical Center with minor injuries and was released.
Shriber was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident occurred at about 4:30PM near mile marker six.
The accident remains under investigation.
