Multiple arrests were made following a burglary that took place in the Town of Fenton on Tuesday. 25-year-old Daniel Ulmer of Binghamton, 20-year-old Matthew Caganek of Port Crane, and 22-year-old Janee Caganek of Port Crane were all arrested in relation to the burglary.
The subjects are accused of entering a residence and stealing several pieces of property, but specifics were not released on what items were taken. The three were found at Chenango Valley State Park and taken into custody without incident on Wednesday, each facing a charge of burglary in the second degree, a felony. The three were arraigned, and Janee Caganek was released pending further court action. Matthew Caganek was sent to the Broome County jail on $2,000 bail and Ulmer was sent to the jail without bail.
