Broome County Executive Barbara Fiala has made it official.
She has tendered her resignation; her last day on the job will be April 15th.
The following Monday, Fiala will begin her new job as Director of the New York Department of Motor Vehicles.
Though her primary work location will be Albany, Fiala expects to work out of the State Office Building in Binghamton part of the time.
Patrick Brennan is expected to succeed Fiala; a final vote on his appointment is expected April 21st.
