Broome County District Attorney Steve Cornwell has announced another arrest made as a result of his office’ continued effort to crack down on those who have allegedly abused positions of power. Most recently, the former Treasurer of the Vestal Band Aids Booster Club has been accused of stealing over $3,000 in club funds. 51-year-old Robin Barber served as treasurer for the booster club from 2011 through 2015.

This is the second arrest made this week as a result of District Attorney Cornwell’s recent crackdown. Laura Landers was arrested for stealing over $7,000 from the Nanticoke Fire Department. Cornwell plans to continue to investigate abuses of public integrity.
