The Catholic Schools of Broome County said it was recently informed that one of its former employees at the St. James School in Johnson City has been arrested.
In a letter to parents and staff, the organization did not disclose the nature of the arrest, but did say the allegations are deeply concerning.
However, the CSBC said they have no evidence nor reason to believe the crime involved any student at the school. They are fully cooperating with law enforcement during the investigation.
