Four Endicott Teenagers Charged with Hindering Prosecution in Stabbing Death

Broome County Sheriff’s Office has made four additional arrests in conjunction with the Q-Quan Richardson homicide investigation. Richardson was stabbed in an altercation that occurred at a party on August 26 on Robinson Hill Road in the Town of Union.

Brian J. Adams Jr., Christopher A. Lane, Thomas J. Hayward and Noah B. Beauparlant, all 18 years of age, were charged with hindering prosecution 1st degree, a class D felony, for rendering criminal assistance to Caleb Casteline, who has been charged with 2nd Degree murder in Richardson’s death. He was arrested last Wednesday at a residence on Main Street in Apalachin.

Adams and Lane were charged with two counts each while Hayward and Beauparlant were charged with one count each. This investigation is considered closed. No further arrests are expected.

Broome County Sheriff’s Office gave these details about the stabbing: On August 26 about 1:41 a.m., the Broome County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a male  at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton with stab wounds to his torso. Further investigation indicated the man, identified as Q-Quan Richardson, of Virgil Street, Binghamton, had been at a large outdoor gathering at 1250 Robinson Hill Road in the Town of Union when he was involved in an altercation with another male. During the altercation, deputies said Richardson was stabbed. The suspect fled the area while Richardson was transported to Lourdes via private vehicle. Due to the extent of his injuries, he was transferred to UHS Wilson Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
