The ice rink at Grippen Park in Endicott will not be opening this winter.
Construction on the building where the ice rink will be is not expected to be finished until the Spring of 2025.
Broome County officials broke ground on the renovations at Grippen Park last March. The new park will feature five pickleball courts, a wiffle ball stadium, regulation flag football field, full court paved basketball court, new accessible playground and an indoor track.
Visitors will have to wait until next winter to enjoy the new ice rink.
