The Johnson City Fire Marshall’s Office is investigating a fire that damaged a multi-family building on Sunday evening.
According to WBNG-TV, the fire broke out on Hudson Street at around 10 p.m. on Sunday.
Firefighters encountered heavy smoke and fire at the front of the building.
No one was in the building at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
Most of the building sustained smoke damage, but much of the fire was contained to the front side of the building and the porch.
Firefighters from Johnson City, Binghamton and Endwell responded to the scene.
