A Johnson City man is facing felony charges after allegedly providing alcohol to a minor in exchange for sexual contact.

On March 21, 2025, Broome County Sheriff’s Office detectives completed an investigation into sexual offenses involving a juvenile female by charging Keith T. Harrison II, age 38 of Johnson City, with Rape in the 3rd Degree and Aggravated Patronizing a Minor for Prostitution in the 3rd Degree, Class E Felonies.

The investigation showed that Harrison had been exchanging messages with a juvenile female via text and Snapchat over several days, pursuing her sexually and eventually purchasing a bottle of flavored vodka for her in exchange for sexual contact.

Following the investigation Harrison was arrested, charged and arraigned at Central Arraignment Part before being remanded to the Broome County Sheriff’s Correctional Facility. An Order of Protection was filed on behalf of the victim.

“Excellent work, as always, by our Broome County Sheriff’s Office Detectives Division in getting more sexual predators off the street and away from our community’s children,” said Sheriff Fred Akshar. “We must continue to be vigilant and hold these predators accountable.”
