Wednesday morning, Johnson City Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart on Gannett Drive for a reported theft and altercation. A Man was confronted by employees for allegedly stealing items from the store. The man threatened an employee with a pair of scissors and then punched a second employee in the face. The man fled on foot and was located shortly thereafter on Lake Avenue in Binghamton by a Binghamton Police officer. The suspect was taken into custody without any incident. A store employee was taken to a hospital for injuries sustained from the suspect. 20-year-old Davon Dozier-Gannaway, of Binghamton was charged with two felony counts of Robbery and one count of Burglary. Further charges are possible. The suspect is being held pending arraignment.
