A man is caught after being on the run from the Broome County Sheriff’s Office for more than a month.
37-year-old Mark B. Rog, of Chenango Forks, was arrested in the town of Dickinson Monday afternoon. Deputies said Rog stole two credit cards from a home in the town of Union in February, which he then used to buy merchandise he sold or traded for illegal drugs. Deputies said Rog had been staying in the Syracuse area for the past several weeks.
Rog also has three active arrest warrants issues out of East Syracuse and Johnson City. He was arraigned in the Town of Maine Court and taken to the Broome County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected.
