The Johnson City man accused of murdering his neighbor will be arraigned before a Broome County Court judge today. 43-year-old Christopher Davis will be arraigned on a grand jury indictment for felony counts of first- and second-degree murder, along with first-degree robbery. The charges stem from the July 8th death of his downstairs neighbor, 50-year-old Patricia LaCaprara. Davis is accused of killing LaCaprara during a robbery at her home at 36 Brown Street in Johnson City. If convicted of first-degree murder, Davis could face a maximum sentence of life in state prison. It is not yet known of the District Attorney will be pursuing that charge. Davis is currently being held in the Broome County Jail without bail.
