Johnson City police has charged a man with felony criminal contempt and several other counts. 23-year-old Javon Jones was charged with two counts of child
endangerment, criminal mischief, unlawful imprisonment and harassment…in addition to the felony crime.

Police said they were called to a residence on Ackley Avenue for a report of a physical domestic dispute. Jones was allegedly having a verbal dispute with the mother of his son. While the mother was holding another child and his son, police say Jones pushed her onto a bed and would not let her leave the room. She tried calling the police on her cell phone and he knocked the phone out of her hand. She put both kids down and had to physically force her way out of the room and ran to a nearby business to call police. These acts were in violation of an order of protection.

Jones took his son with him and was located by officers in a cab a short distance away from the residence and was arrested.
