On Monday, the Broome County Special Investigations Unit and the New York State Police arrested Akanni Amberslie, 27, in Johnson City.
Amberslie was wanted as a parole absconder for the past four years.
He had no permanent address.
Amberslie was taken to the Broome County Jail.
