Man Faces Attempted Murder in JC Stabbing

FROM JOHNSON CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT:

Johnson City Police Department arrested a Deposit man in relation to the stabbing December 20 outside McDonald’s Restaurant, 339 Main St., Johnson City.

 

Tyler J. DeCamp, 26, of Deposit, is charged with two counts of Attempted Murder in the 2nd Degree, a Class B Felony. DeCamp is accused of causing serious physical injuries to the victims in this assault. DeCamp was arrested at a location on Corliss Ave, Johnson City.

 

He was arraigned and remanded to the Broome County jail.

 

Four other men from Deposit were arrested earlier this week and charged with two counts of Gang Assault in the 1st Degree NYS PL 120.07.

  • Jay M. Moore, age 33, of Deposit, NY
  • Travis J. Dise, age 24, of Deposit, NY
  • Christopher G. Nugent, age 31, of Deposit, NY

 

The men are accused of causing serious physical injuries to the victims in this incident. They were arraigned and remanded to the Broome County jail without bail.
