The Johnson City Police report that they have made two arrests in a shooting last weekend on Willow Street. A woman was shot in the chest during the incident. She has been released from the hospital. Police believe one of the suspects arrested was the intended target. The shooter is alleged to have been a 16-year-old, whose name has not been released. He has been charged with Attempted Murder. The second person arrested is 18-year-old Xavier Melendez; he was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Tampering with Evidence.
