Police have confirmed that one person died in the Tuesday night crash in Candor. The two car accident happened at the intersection of Route 96 at Catatonk Hill Road. There were two occupants in each vehicle. Two people were airlifted to Robert Packer hospital in Sayre. One was transported by ambulance. 89-year-old Dick Nabor of Candor was killed in the crash. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
Police also confirm that the motorcyclist who crashed Tuesday evening in Johnson City has died. The man’s name has not yet been released, but police say he was 75 years old. The 7:30PM accident occurred near the on ramp of Route 17 West at Route 201. Police believe the motorcycle crashed into a car travelling southbound on Route 201. No tickets were issued. The victim was wearing a helmet.
