Broome Jury: JC Man Guilty of Rape Against Two Women

Adrian K. Hoyt was found guilty at trial Wednesday in Broome County Court for two counts of rape. At trial, Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney Stephanie Milks proved Hoyt raped a woman in September 2018 in the Village of Johnson City, and raped another woman during the summer of 2016 in the Town of Dickinson.

  • 130.35 Rape, in the first degree, a Class B Felony
  • 130.25 Rape, in the third degree, a Class E Felony

 

Hoyt was arrested in September 2018 by the Johnson City Police Department. Following an investigation, the District Attorney’s Office presented an additional count to a Grand Jury, for the 2016 crime in the Town of Dickinson.

 

Sentencing is scheduled for June 12, when Hoyt could be sentenced from five to 29 years in prison.
