Two firefighters were injured in a Monday morning house fire on Fredericks Road in the Town of Maine. The firefighters fell through the floorboards upon entering the residence. The injuries were not considered serious, but both firefighters were taken to the hospital for evaluation. The home was occupied but there were no injuries to the residents. The fire is believed to have started in the basement. No cause has yet been determined.
