Man accused of killing two people in Binghamton arraigned on murder charges

The man accused of killing two men in Binghamton back in February has been arraigned in Broome County Court on two counts of murder in the second degree.

50-year-old Scott Mitchell is charged in the deaths of Daniel McCloe and Marshall VanOven, who were reported missing on February 3 and found dead in a residence on February 5.

Mitchell was later apprehended in Florida and extradited back to Broome County.

He was arraigned on the murder charges on May 2nd.
