The man who police suspect killed New York State Trooper Christopher Skinner has been indicted on various charges. 60-year-old Almond Upton of Melrose, Florida was indicted by a grand jury yesterday. Upton has been charged with one count of Murder in the first degree, two counts of assault in the second degree, one count of criminal mischief in the second degree, two counts of criminal mischief in the fourth degree, and five counts of reckless driving. All of this comes after police accuse Upton of intentionally swerving on Interstate 81 to hit trooper Skinner. District Attorney Gerald Mollen, and Senior Assistant Joshua Shapiro will be representing the prosecution. A court date has not been set, as a judge has not yet been selected.
