A Port Crane man has been charged with violating an order of protection on the same day that the order was issued. 34-year-old Darnell Ney has been arrested for felony Criminal Contempt.
The victim told troopers that Ney was calling from the Broome County Jail after he was issued the order of protection earlier in the evening. Ney was arraigned in the town of Fenton Court and remanded to the Broome County Jail without bail.
