No bomb found after threat at State Office Building in Binghamton

The Binghamton Police Department said no bomb was found at the State Office Building on Hawley Street on Thursday after a threat was made against the New York State Attorney General’s regional office.

The threat was made at around 8 a.m. towards the office on the 17th floor. Multiple floors of the State Office Building were closed as the Endicott bomb squad and Binghamton K9 units searched the building.

The building was opened later that morning. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
