NWS in Binghamton Issues Winter Storm Warning

The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a Winter Storm Warning for snow, which is in effect from 10 am Friday to 7 am EST Saturday for the southern tier of New York and most of northeast Pennsylvania.
Storm totals of 5 to 8 inches.
Amounts closer to 5 inches are possible in the Wyoming and Lackawanna valleys, including Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, and Carbondale, and also in the Susquehanna Valley of the twin tiers.
Localized totals of 8 to 10 inches are possible on the hilltops of northern Tioga and Broome counties.
