The New York State Police have ruled a pair of suspicious deaths in Chenango Forks from earlier this month as a murder-suicide.
According to police, 38-year-old Matthew J. Lott caused the death of 63-year-old Scott E. Cleary with a firearm then caused his own death with a firearm.
State troopers responded to Parsons Road in Chenango Forks on Aug. 10th for a report of two suspicious deaths.
According to police, the deceased individuals lived together at the residence.
