Philadelphia man sentenced on weapons charge

A Philadelphia man was found guilty by a Broome County jury for a weapons crime on Wednesday.

According to the Broome County District Attorney’s Office, Jeremy Lewis, who previously lived in Endicott, was convicted of possessing a loaded and defaced firearm.

Lewis was considered Broome County’s Most Wanted Fugitive in 2024. He was apprehended in Philadelphia in August.

Sentencing is set for July 10. Lewis will spend 15 years in state prison as a second felony offender.
