The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force confiscated $89,000 in cash and large quantity of cocaine following an investigation into the sale of cocaine last week.
The task force executed a search warrant on a St. Charles Street home in Johnson City along with a local financial institution on Friday, June 14th.
Police discovered 25 grams of cocaine, packaging materials, scales, cutting agents and around $89,000 in cash.
Krystan Newborn has been charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a Class B felony, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, a Class C felony, and three misdemeanor counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree.
