The Broome County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a sex offender who has gone missing.
54-year-old Paul Terwilliger of Chenango was arrested last month after being charged with felony sexual conduct. He was bailed out of the Broome County Jail, but friends who had lived with Terwilliger reported him missing last Wednesday.
The sheriff’s office has conducted an extensive search, with the help of the New York State Forest Rangers, the Broome Emergency Services Search Team, along with other local agencies. He was not located in the area of his home at 4 Airport Road, and his whereabouts remain unknown.
Police are asking anyone with information on Terwilliger’s location to call their tipline at 778-1196. All information can remain confidential.
