A Broome County legislator has passed away. Robert Locker died Monday morning after a long battle with a brain tumor.
Locker was elected in November last year to represent the county legislature’s 12th district. A resident of Johnson City for 37 years, Locker was retired from Huron Real Estate in Endicott where he was the site Fire Marshall. He was also a longtime volunteer with the Prospect Terrace Fire Company.
