Multiple fire agencies were called for a water rescue on Friday. The Vestal Police Department received a call around 5:15 Friday afternoon for a person allegedly in the water near the Route 26 bridge. Water Rescue Crews were dispatched to Harold Moore Park in Vestal, Grippen Park in Endicott, and the Apalachin Boat Launch. The search continued into the evening. Authorities have not released any further information.
