Search warrant leads to drug charges against Endicott man

The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force executed a search warrant at an apartment on Central Street in the Village of Endicott on Wednesday, May 8.

The target of the search warrant was 55-year-old Gregg T. Stroud, of Endicott, NY, who was present during the execution of the warrant. During the search, police discovered over 50 grams of methamphetamine, 42 multi-colored pills that were determined to be amphetamines, 53 Adderall pills, and scales and packing materials used for the distribution of narcotics.

As a result of the investigation, Stroud was arrested and charged with:

– Two Counts Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, a Class B Felony

– Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree, a Class C Felony

– Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree, a Class D Felony

– Two Counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree, Class A Misdemeanors

The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force is comprised of the Broome County Sheriff’s Office, the City of Binghamton Police Department, and the Village of Johnson City Police Department.
