Broome County will be getting another Chick-fil-A next year, with this one planned for the Vestal Parkway.
According to News Channel 34, company officials met with the Vestal Town Planning Board this week to discuss plans to convert a building at the Town Square Mall into a Chick-fil-A. The building previously housed Pizzeria Uno and the Storming Crab.
The current building will be demolished with Chick-fil-A constructing a new building with drive-through lanes and both indoor and outdoor seating.
This is the second Chick-fil-A location recently announced in Broome County. The other will be built at the current site of the Key Bank at the Oakdale Commons in Johnson City.
The new businesses are expected to be open by next spring.
