State Senator Tom Libous will not be making his way back to Albany until he recovers from spinal surgery. Libous’ office said the senator had a second back surgery on Monday. It was a follow-up operation to a recent repair to a detached screw in his spine. Sen. Libous will continue to work with senate staff and voters in his district through email and phone communications. He will return to the New York Capitol after he is cleared by his doctor.
