Several housing projects are underway in Broome County.
Over the next two years, Broome County Executive Jason Garnar said there will be about 1,000 housing units completed or in construction.
The projects include work at the Homesteads on Grand in Johnson City, the former Sheltered Workshop and Veteran Tiny Homes in Binghamton and the Hooper Road Apartments in Endwell.
According to WBNG-TV, the first project expected to be completed are the tiny homes for veterans at 530 State Street.
