Broome County Executive Jason Garnar has lifted the State of Emergency for the village of Deposit and the town of Sanford. Heavy rainfall Tuesday afternoon caused extreme flash flooding, dangerous road conditions and left several buildings with basement flooding.
Garnar’s office said the State of Emergency was lifted at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
