The SUNY Broome community is mourning the passing of one of its professors. Wesley Warren suffered an apparent heart attack Saturday night. Warren was an associate professor in the Criminal Justice and Homeland Security Department. He was also a former police officer and New York State Certified Criminal Investigator. He held an associates degree from SUNY Broome, a Bachelors of Science from Binghamton University, and a Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. School officials say the family is making arrangements and SUNY Broome will notify the campus when they are finalized.
