All are invited to attend a special public voice event at SUNY Broome tonight from 6:30-8:30 in the Decker Health Sciences Building. SUNY Broome’s Center for Civic Engagement wants to hear from local community members what the top three legislative priorities should be this year at both the county and state level. Citizens are invited to bring a written list of their top priorities tonight and will be given one minute to share those with the crowd. Legislators are also invited to attend, but will not speak. A copy of the priorities will be submitted to county and state officials after the event. Co-sponsors include the League of Women Voters and the Broome County Chamber of Commerce.
