A teenager was killed in a car accident in Bainbridge on Sunday.
According to the New York State Police, a 17-year-old female driver was operating an SUV on East Afton Road at around 8:30 a.m. on Sunday when she went off the roadway.
The vehicle went down an embankment, crossed a creek and struck several trees before coming to a stop on the opposite side of the creek.
The 17-year-old female was killed in the accident.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
