A teenager was arrested on multiple weapons charges following an incident on Sunday morning.
Binghamton Police responded to Robert Street in the early morning hours on Sunday for a report of shots fired.
Four males were seen leaving the area as police arrived. All four fled when officers tried to talk with them. Three juveniles were caught, including a 16-year-old who was found to be possession of a loaded 9mm Century Arms pistol with a high-capacity magazine and weapon mounted light.
The teen was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second, third and fourth degrees, and criminal possession of a firearm.
He was arraigned in Youth Part Court and remanded to the Juvenile Detention Facility. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
