The 140th annual Broome County Fair kicks off today. Gates open at 5PM and the Kick-off parade starts at 6PM. After the parade, there will be a benefit auction, entertainment, and tractor pulls. Starting tonight and continuing throughout the fair, there will be chainsaw carving demonstrations, 4-H stations, and a petting zoo. General admission is free all day today. The fair continues through July 27th in Whitney Point.
