Three people injured from alcohol burns at Binghamton bar

Three people suffered injuries from alcohol burns on Friday night at a bar in Binghamton.

According to Binghamton Police, the incident occurred at around 10:45 p.m. on Friday night at the Courtside Bar and Grill.

A 20-year-old was served a drink that had been lit on fire before being served. The drink combusted, causing a large spurt of fire. The female was rushed to a local hospital for immediate treatment and transferred to Upstate Medical in Syracuse.

Two other people were treated by medics at the scene.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
