The engineer and conductor were uninjured.  A crane is expected to arrive around 11 AM to pull the locomotives from the river.  The town of Deposit has declared a state of emergency because of the recent Flash Flooding.  The Deposit School District has cancelled summer programs for the day today as a result of the emergency declaration.
