We’re learning new information about a crash that left two people dead in Broome County. It happened on State Route 369 near Ballyhack Road in Fenton just before 8 p.m. Friday night. Deputies say a car was driving southbound when it swerved into the oncoming lane and hit an SUV head on. Passengers in the car, 17-year-old Kristen Crandall and 37-year-old Corey Jones both died at the scene. The driver of the car, 20-year-old Anthony Stroman, and his passenger, 37-year-old Kelly Crandall, were both taken to local hospitals. Their conditions are not known at this time.
No one in the SUV was injured.
Deputies say a third vehicle may have been involved in the crash. They’re now looking for that car. It’s described as an older, brown colored Buick sedan with the new style blue and gold license plates. If anyone has any information regarding this crash, call detectives at (607) 778-2054.
