Gary’s U Pull-It and Don’s Automotive Mall teamed up with Windsor and Chenango Valley High Schools to promote safety this prom and graduation season.
Kristen Wentzell from Windsor High School and Chris Rhoades from CV High School are the lucky new owners of a set of wheels.
It’s part of a contest where kids promise to keep the dance and activities around it alcohol and drug free. The students also had the chance to win a car.
Don’s Automotive and Gary’s U Pull-It each donated one car to the cause.
The cars were looked over and deemed ready to drive. Both winners agree it’s a great perk to stay safe and enjoy their friends.
“It was nice. It’s just fun to be with everyone and not being involved in all the other after parties and just being safe,” says Kristen Wentzell.
Organizers say 95% of students who went to the prom also attended the after prom events.
