Students at the Jennie F. Snapp Middle School in the Union-Endicott district had to be temporarily relocated this morning after a small electrical fire started in a classroom. The fire was able to be extinguished after just minutes with no damage to the room or building. The Endicott Fire Department was called to the scene and deemed the building safe for the students to return. According to the school, the fire did cause an odor throughout the building, so students were taken to their designated evacuation site. No students or staff members were in any danger, and the daily schedule has resumed at this time.
