The supervisor of the Town of Union has been indicted by a Broome County Grand Jury on multiple charges in connection with accusations that she harassed town employees. Rose Sotak pleaded not guilty this morning to corrupt use of position of authority, obstructing governmental administration and official misconduct charges, according to Broome County District Attorney Steve Cornwell. The town board has hired a law firm to research how to legally remove her from office. Sotak has maintained her innocence, saying she did not abuse her power.
